Samuel Nii Odoi Devine (Chairman)
Mr. Samuel Nii Odoi Divine is a Senior lecturer at Presbyterian University College. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. Sam is a researcher, writer and public speaker who has been engaged in several public speaking assignments academically, socially and religiously. As an academic and a technologist, with a strong affinity for computers, he has been involved in several projects as a consultant in the integration of information systems into the operations of a number of organizations. He is also an ardent Christian who believes in the sound principles of training the head, the heart and the hand.
Dr. Awuni Emmanuel

Dr. Emmanuel Awuni KOLOG is a Data Scientist, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana and the director of FastROI digital solutions LTD. He holds a PhD and MSc in Computer science from the University of Eastern Finland. He additionally holds an MBA degree in International Business Management from the Lapland University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Dr. Awuni is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship to McGill University in Canada. Dr. Awuni’s areas of expertise include the fields of Machine Learning Applications, Text-based Affect Detection using NLP, Learning Analytics, Digital platforms, and Business Analytics. He has provided capacity building and consulted for a number of organisations, including, Bank of Ghana, UNICEF-Ghana, UNESCO, Malawi education service, Ghana Health Service, The University of Ghana Business school, McGill University among others.
Prof. Erkki Sutinen

Dr. Erkki Sutinen is a Professor of Computer Science (Interaction design) at the University of Turku since 2015. He moved to Namibia in 2019 to set up the first overseas campus of the University of Turku, located currently at the premises of the University of Namibia, in its main campus in Windhoek. Erkki got his PhD from the University of Helsinki in 1998, based on his research in string algorithms. From 1999-2015, he was a professor at the University of Eastern Finland (1999-2009 University of Joensuu) where he founded a research group in educational technology, hosting an online PhD program impdet.org. From 2010-12, he was the chief technical advisor of the 22 M€ STIFIMO science, technology and innovation program in Mozambique.
Dr. Sulemana B. Egala

Sulemana Bankuoru Egala Holds a PhD in Data mining and Information Management with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He also holds a bachelor’s and master of philosophy degrees in computing and information systems. He is currently an assistant lecturer at the department of Informatics, faculty of ICT at the SDD University of Business and Integrated Development Studies. He has vast interest in the areas of health Informatics, Open Data and Social business analytics.
Dr. Samuel Atarah

Dr S. A Atarah joined the Department in August 2013 as a lecturer in physics having completed his higher education in the University of Hesinki Finland (MPhil (Physics), and De Monftort University (Ph.D) in Leicester, UK. Shortly before being hired by the University of Ghana, he had worked with the prestigous Department of Physics and Astrononomy in University of Leicester and also held a Post- Doctoral Research Fellowship posotion with lectureship responsibility in the University of the West of Scotland also in the UK. His research field is in the area of condensed matter with focus on characterizing solid matter using x-rays, atomic absoption spectroscopy and related radiations.
Clara Kasser-Tee Esq

Clara is a lawyer with a multidisciplinary background. She is Lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Law as well as Lecturer in the Legal and Policy Aspects of Migration at the University of Ghana Centre for Migration Studies. Clara is also a consultant with considerable experience in legal and regulatory frameworks, institutional assessment and policy analysis. She is Chairperson of the Constitutional Review Consultative Committee, Vice-Chair of the Network of Legal Experts on migration in West and Central Africa, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Centre for Democratic Development, (CDD Ghana), Head of Chambers at Kasser Law Firm, and Member of the Public Interest and Accountability Committee where she is the Chairperson of the Legal Sub-Committee. Clara graduated at the top of her class and is a recipient of the prestigious John Mensah Sarbah Prize given to the best overall (all round) graduating lawyer, and the best student in the law of taxation in 2009. She was chosen by the Campaign for Female Education (Camfed), an international non- governmental organization as its role model for its Career and Entrepreneurship Fair organized for young women in March 2010. She is currently editorial member of the Legon Journal of International Affairs and Diplomacy among others. Clara contributes to legal education, political and institutional development through several engagements with the media and the Ghana Revenue Authority on relevant national issues. She has earned the respect and trust of the public, (including members of the judiciary, the Ghana Bar, other public and private institutions and the general public) who openly praise her in- depth knowledge of the law, and professionalism. Many consider her an inspiration.
